The Light House has provided emergency shelter, transitional and supportive housing, homelessness prevention, and related support services to people who are homeless and at risk of homelessness in Anne Arundel County for almost 30 years.

Our overarching goal is to make homelessness brief and rare. To this end, we specifically tailor our services for each client who comes through our doors. The integrated care provided at The Light House helps clients stabilize their health, maximize income, and secure safe and stable housing.

Beyond providing food, clothing, and shelter, The Light House also addresses the underlying causes of homelessness such as lack of marketable job skills, addiction, and the debilitating effects of both mental and physical health issues.

Rebuilding lives through programs and services that work.
