In-Kind Donation Needs

The Light House relies on in-kind donations from our generous community to ensure that our clients’ most basic needs are met. Due to limited storage space and health code regulations, we have developed the following donation guidelines. We are very committed to being good stewards of your donations by only accepting items we will be able to use.

Accepted items can be delivered to 10 Hudson Street, Annapolis, MD.


Items We Always Accept

Immediate Needs:

Thanks to the generosity of donors, community groups, farmers markets, grocery stores and volunteers, last year The Light House distributed:

  • 37,834 bagged lunches
  • 85,000 pounds of bagged groceries
  • 9,800 hot breakfasts, 18,783 hot lunches and 20,040 dinners
  • Clothing to 529 Career Closet Clients
  • Provided emergency shelter, food and other valuable services to more than 2,000 neighbors in need
  • Provided emergency and transitional housing for 158 individuals and 19 families, including 40 children
     


Your donations are greatly appreciated and go directly to those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
